Sterling Raw operates as a pre-order raw dog food company, primarily using Facebook as a platform for orders. We currently manage two private Facebook groups where members can place their orders. Each month, a post is published to notify group members that ordering is open. Customers can place their orders by commenting on the designated post, messaging us through Facebook Messenger, or emailing us if they are not on Facebook.

Orders must be placed and paid for within a two-week window, with deliveries scheduled for two weeks after the order period closes. While we do not have retail locations or offer local pickup on Vancouver Island, we provide convenient delivery options. Our warehouse, located in Gibson's, serves as the designated pickup location for local customers.

WHERE DO WE DELIVER: We deliver to pre determined pick up spots in Gibson's, Sidney, Victoria, Langford,  Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, Courtenay, and Campbell River. If enough interest is shown, different pick up spots can be added. We do not at this time deliver to individual households.

HOW MUCH IS DELIVERY: Delivery to the Island is $5 per 20 lb box and $10 per 40 lb box with a $10 minimum delivery fee. There is no delivery fee on treats, bones or supplements if a box of raw is ordered. Delivery fee is waived if 200 lbs or more is ordered. There is no delivery fee to Gibson's.

Delivery dates are scheduled in advance, typically six months ahead, and are posted in our private Facebook group under the "Featured" section for easy reference. Deliveries to Vancouver Island take place once a month, usually in mid-month.

In some cases, delivery dates may need to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances, such as cold storage or trucking issues. If any changes occur, we will notify customers promptly. A group message via Messenger is sent out the Monday before delivery with confirmed times and locations, as well as real-time updates on the delivery day in case of delays (e.g., traffic disruptions).

Orders are carefully organized on pallets the week before delivery and transported to the Island using frozen/reefer trucks. Once they arrive at cold storage, they are picked up and brought to designated delivery locations for customer pickup.
